After your trip, be sure to stop by the Gift Shop to browse and buy items selected to reflect the Southwest United States and Route 66…America’s “Mother Road.”
Friends of the Interpretive Center
Please join us in becoming a member of the “Friends of the Interpretive Center,”
We are a non-profit organization created by the Old Armory Restorers and Chandler Community Development Trust Authority. We are a beautifully designed one of a kind video display enjoyed by world travelers enthusiastic about the culture, charm, and continuous appeal for “The Mother Road.”
It’s an hour-long trip to experience the history of Route 66 and the State of Oklahoma. If you haven’t visited us lately, I'm sure you will enjoy seeing the Route 66 photographs kindly on loan from Shellee Graham and Jim Ross.
Our audio/visual equipment is now installed and ready to be used at your event, meeting, or reception. We have capability to computer Powerpoint Presentations, DVD, CD, microphones, and even filming your event as it happens to be put on DVD for you to keep and share.
Our “friend” will be associated with us for a yearly donation and will be allowed the benefit of free entrance when accompanied by your family members or friends for that year. It’s great to bring people into the Interpretive Center knowing your entrance has been paid through your yearly pledge of support.
Our “friend” will receive a discount on items purchased in our Gift Shop for the duration of that annual period. You can donate $25 dollars to $1000 dollars. You can mail your donation to Chandler Route 66 Interpretive Center, 400 East Highway 66, Chandler, Oklahoma 74834.
You may opt to receive our newsletter by mail or by e-mail to be kept informed of events calendar, special interest group visiting, and other new happenings. Funds collected will be used to take care of much needed maintenance, equipment, and basic operational money.
Thank you for past and future support. Event dates are currently being booked for Spring/Summer 2011 so please think of us as soon as your plans are firm. Come see us soon.
Sincerely,
Your Interpretive Center Staff |
